We can offer employment opportunities in Queensland Australia for GP's under a couple of pathways depending on your long term intentions. The options available to you may appear quite complex with regard to registration visas and in particular Australian Medical Billing requirements. This is where we can assist you with you move and show you the best pathway available depending on your goals and long term intentions.
If you wish to come and work in Australia for a period of 12 months or slightly more with no intention of settling permanently, we can arrange for you employment in most areas of Australia under a "conditional" medical registration that allows you to work for a designated practice and gain medical registration for your specific role without having to undertake Australia's fellowship examinations.
Once we have identified a role for you that you are pleased with, we can assist you with an application to the relevent state medical board for your "conditional" registration.
Conditional registration can last for 12 months and can be renewed with another application.
Many GP's seek to come to Australia on a permanent basis and settle for the long term. This is not a problem and we can certainly assist you in this regard. If your intention is to stay and work here long term, you will need to become a fellow of the college of GP's in Australia and undertake the fellowship examinations to FRACGP status.
We can assist you with such if this is your ambition. You can work in Australia in the above capacity of conditional registration until such time as you gain fellowship.
